I suppose every year this weekend, I come down to SoCal. But it's sort of weird and I suppose somewhat interesting how times change. It's not that it's a bad thing or it's a good thing. Just times change.
On the boring front of my life, school has started. Or let me repharse that, classes and instruction has begun. I suppose school or class hasn't exactly begun for me. I have been eating out a lot. A whole lot of sushi - Sushi Totoro with Bob's kids, I <3 Sushi with KAMP family, Kianti & Cafe Brasil with the housemates, Falafel and Thai with Robbie, Mission Taqueiria with GeOff. Yeah all in like the first two weeks and now I am in LA! WHATTHEFACK. Oh and if you didn't know I'm currently employed. I no longer work at Paper-Source. I am hoping to working somewhere in Santa Cruz.
Oh! So the reason why this blog goes out to the City of Los Angeles is the goddamn city has taken away a good chunk of my money. With feeding the meters on the street and paying for parking at malls. Oh and the worst part is paying for parking at UCLA. At the end of this trip I will have spent 32 dollars on parking. This includes having to wake up at 630 in the morning to add more money. Grrrr

Here's to "Human"
and sometimes I get nervous
when I see an open door
close your eyes, clear your heart
cut the cord
you taught me everything I know
wave good bye, wish me well
it's true. i do get nervous when things are "available."
i am just not sure what to do.

Here's to Sandy* and that One Time at Great America
It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are. ~Roy Disney
I always feel that when people complain about something, they can do something about it.
(I know I complain.)
At the end of every summer session, there would always be a trip to Great America or Marine World (Yes, It used to be called Marine Worlds.) And I remember this one time specifically with this one girl named Sandy*. All she did was complain about how thirsty she was the entire day! This just gets me - how are you going to complain the entire day about being thirsty when there are plenty of drink stands, food courts, soda machines, and water fountains all around Great America?
I hate people who complain when they can do something about it. Okay, not hate. Hate is too strong of a word. It's just a pet peeve of mine.
So I am trying to start with myself. If I can change the situation, then I will.
Right? I hope this makes sense.

Here's to New Shows
I finished (caught up).
_How I Met Yo Mama (Mondays, CBS, 800PM)
_The Big Bang Theory (Mondays, CBS, 830PM)
I am working on.
_LOST (Wednesdays, ABC, 900PM)
Already
_Jon and Kate Plus 8 (Mondays, TLC, 900PM)
_Gossip Girl (Mondays, TheCW, 800PM)
_90210 (Tuesdays, TheCW, 800PM)
_The Office (Thursdays, NBC, 900PM
No Mas
_Heroes (FAIL)
So Dr. Jack (Matthew Fox) makes me melt.

Oh! And after watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve with Ryan Secrest, which should have actually been renamed to "Ryan Secrest's Lame New Year's Eve with Dick Clark," JESSE MCCARTNEY is EL MUCHO SUAVE. Look at the footwork too! And I love love love the song.
